It’s kids’ identity
Came up with the name, drew the logo, did the identity and illustrations

Memorandum Capital is an international investment company that helps startups and investors find each other across seven countries.
We developed a logo and visual identity for the company.
Memorandum Capital works with startups looking for funding and investors searching for promising projects. The team carefully reviews both sides before bringing them together.
Memorandum Capital's analysts and auditors assess startups, looking at their stability and investment potential. Investors also go through a strict screening process.
The company wanted its identity to reflect the serious, thorough approach associated with major international financial institutions.
We needed to give Memorandum Capital a professional, established look that would suit its work with investors and startups.
The company also hosts events around the world, including startup pitches, training programmes and face-to-face meetings.
These events are an important part of how Memorandum Capital brings people together. The team uses printed materials to introduce the company, present projects and communicate with potential partners. The new identity needed to work across all these formats.
We suggested a monogram built from the first letters of the company's name. It's a familiar approach in traditional banking, where letter-based symbols have been used for years.
This felt right for Memorandum Capital. The company works with startups, but its own role is closer to that of a financial institution: assessing opportunities, screening participants and helping the right people meet. We wanted the logo to reflect that side of the business.
We paired the monogram with a cropped globe motif. Memorandum Capital works across seven countries, and the globe gives that international reach a simple visual reference. The cropped shape also works as a graphic element in its own right, so it can appear on different branded materials alongside the logo.

For the wordmark, we drew on the look of old newspaper typefaces, which have a familiar connection with the financial world. We also gave the letter M a deliberately worn appearance, leaving out some of its details to suggest age and experience.
These details give the mark its character. The serif lettering, the slightly weathered monogram and the globe motif work together, making the identity recognisable whether the full company name is present or the symbol is used on its own.

We also needed the design to work beyond the screen. The mark can be applied to physical objects and promotional materials, including items with limited room for branding. The business card is one example of how the elements come together in a small format.

Memorandum Capital introduces startups to potential investors, so we also designed a startup digest for that audience. It needed to sit comfortably alongside the company's other communications and feel like part of the same brand.
We applied the typography and graphic elements to the digest, giving the publication a consistent visual direction. The format is different from a business card or a logo on a wall, but the identity gives them a clear connection.

The company also needed printed materials to promote its work and support its events. With startup pitches, training programmes and meetings taking place in different countries, there are plenty of occasions to use them.
We carried the visual identity across these pieces, adapting the layout and graphic elements to each format. The monogram and cropped globe provide recognisable details, while the typography ties the materials back to the company.
The different printed formats also show how the identity can be adapted. The same graphic elements work at different sizes, whether they're used on a small branded item or as part of a larger publication.
