A website for a speech technology company

Client

CC Excellence (CCE) develops and implements AI speech technologies. It helps businesses automate contact centre and support operations, improve customer service and reduce costs.

The company mainly works with clients in Europe. The team came to us as they were planning to expand into new markets.

Challenge: introducing CCE to a new market

CCE was preparing to enter markets across the Gulf and the wider Middle East. It needed a website that would introduce the company to a new audience, highlight its strengths and explain how its products could help businesses.

The tricky part was explaining the AI platform. It consists of multiple modules that can be combined into different solutions. We needed to make it clear who these solutions are for and what they do, without overwhelming visitors with technical detail.

We had 15 days to launch the first version, ready for an exhibition in Dubai. Our team consisted of a designer and an art director.

Solution

We explained the technology through the business problems it solves. For the product pages, we chose a reusable template to give each service a clear, consistent introduction and make new pages easier to add.

We chose a sci-fi aesthetic with visual references to sound. A shared visual style kept the site consistent, while a different animation at the top of each product page highlighted what made the service distinct.

To meet the deadline, we split the work into two stages. First, we launched a landing page with company information and a contact form in time for the exhibition. Then we refined the homepage and designed the product pages.

Understanding the business and the product

We started by looking at CCE’s services: which generated the most profit and which were less profitable but helped attract new clients.

Then we dug into the speech technologies: how they work, how they differ and how they complement each other. We looked at the problems clients bring to CCE and how the company solves them. This helped us decide what to say about the company, which points to emphasise and how to explain its services.

Choosing a sci-fi aesthetic inspired by sound

We focused on showing CCE’s technical expertise and its ability to put that expertise to work in contact centres.

We chose black, white and an otherworldly shade of green, paired with futuristic typefaces and wave graphics that reference sound and speech technology. A minimal layout keeps the focus on the content.

We also planned for the site to grow. The structure needed to support new pages and sections without constant reworking or making navigation harder to follow.

Launching the MVP in 15 days

To meet the exhibition deadline, we used the FFF approach: Fix time, Fix budget, Flex scope. The timeline and budget stay fixed; we adjust the scope to fit, deciding what needs to be ready for launch and what can wait.

The first version included company information and a contact form. As soon as designs were ready, we passed them to the developers and carried on with the next sections.

The landing page went live in 15 days, in time for CCE to present it at the Dubai exhibition.

After launch, we refined the homepage and created the product pages using a shared template.

Building one template for different services

CCE offers a wide range of services. Designing every page from scratch would have taken too much time and money, so we compared their content, identified what they had in common and where they differed, then built a reusable template.

We also worked on the client’s copy: cutting it down, simplifying the wording and making the key points stand out. We structured the pages so visitors could quickly understand what CCE offers, which problem each service solves and why they should choose the company.

To create a new page, the client just adds headings, copy and icons to the existing sections. An animation at the top gives each service its own character within the shared template.

Creating a different animation for each service

Each product page has its own animation. We drew the visual ideas from the service descriptions so the graphics would support what the page was saying.

We used generative design: code generates the graphics and controls their movement. This helped us create individual animations without the expense of drawing everything by hand, keeping the work within budget.

The imagery is built from particles: tiny points that form shapes with depth while still feeling light and weightless. That lightness echoes the theme of sound.

The result is a consistent page structure with a distinct visual identity for each service.

Explaining the building blocks of CCE’s solutions

The platform is built around seven technology modules, including virtual assistants, speech analytics, voice biometrics and a call script builder. CCE combines these modules in different ways to deliver its services.

We explained the business problem each module solves and how it fits into the platform. This makes it easier to see how the modules work together to meet a client’s specific needs.

Each module has a distinct, minimal illustration to help visitors tell them apart.
